GO SUCCEED PROGRAM
FREE COLLEGE COACHING AND TEST PREP TUTORING
College Factory’s Go Succeed program helps students set career goals, choose an appropriate educational program, improve reading and math skills and prepare for admissions and financial aid applications.
Our licensed Georgia-certified instructors and experienced teachers provide free coaching and enrichment services at Clarke Central High School, Cedar Shoals High School, and Classic City High School. Our coaches provide tutoring for the ACT and SAT content (Math, English, Reading, etc.) and offer strategies and tips for successful test day performance.
As part of our Go Succeed program, students also have access to free online college and career coaching provided by Spivey Education Services.
Each semester, College Factory will award 30 CCSD high school students with scholarships to cover the cost of 13 weeks of mentoring sessions.
Over the 13 weeks, coaching sessions cover the following fundamental topics:

- surveying the student’s interests and skills;
- learn about specific careers and the educational credentials required;
- identify educational programs that fit student goals, including entrance requirements (e.g., grades and test scores), geography, cost, and cultural demographics to ensure a realistic fit;
- determining the level of financial aid needed and identifying sources;
- completing and submitting FAFSA paperwork and admission applications containing customized personal essays.
